The state of your office carpets – like the rest of your work environment - reflects heavily on your company. And, if those carpets are looking grubby, and a little down at heel, then that’s not going to say a lot for your business.

Your employees are regularly ‘bringing the outdoors in’
Yes, you may have them vacuumed every day by your office cleaners but, it’s also a good idea to give them a deep clean every few months or so too. Why?
Well, it’s easy for dirt and grime to build up on office carpets when your staff are walking all over them with their outdoor shoes on. Not only will the carpets look dirtier – even if they are grey or brown in colour - but they will also be pretty unhygienic too, thanks to all that outdoor muck falling between the carpet fibres.
Also, if the muck is there too long it will lead to the fibres breaking down – something that is irreversible. If you haven’t looked down in a while then now is the time to do an inventory of your office carpets.
Be honest about how they really look. Are they in need of a deep clean, or even replacing? One thing is for sure – if you don’t think they look great then neither will any potential clients you bring in for a meeting.
Deep cleaning your office carpet makes it more durable
Another reason for having your office carpets deep cleaned at least every six months is to ensure they last as long as possible. Carpets, like other office fittings such as desks and chairs, aren’t exactly cheap so the less often you have to replace your carpets the better. That is especially the case if you are just starting out in business and need to plough every penny you earn back into the company in order to scale up.
