Very Low Dust Sanding
Once we’re finished, you won’t notice any scratches or old or annoyingly stubborn marks. They’ll all be gone. Our wood floor sanding process doesn’t produce any dust, so you don’t have to worry about having to clean the walls and ceiling afterwards. In fact, it is 99.9 per cent guaranteed dust-free, thanks to an h-rated extraction system.
This also ensures that all edges and corners have an even and uniform finish.
Hard wax oil floor restoration
When restoring oak flooring using a hard wax oil finish, the result is a more natural, matt finish. An oil finish is also excellent for helping to mask imperfections in the wood after many years of walking on it.
Once the oil has been added, it is important that you don’t use that particular room for up to five hours. That way, the oil has time to cure. You can then put the furniture back into the room after 12 hours.
Lacquer floor restoration
Unlike the hard wax oil, which penetrates into the wood, the lacquer sits on the top of the wood. It’s a great floor covering for high-traffic areas since it’s pretty durable and easy to maintain.
The floor is then more prone to scratching than a hard wax oil finish though. When using a lacquer finish, it’s often a good idea to wait for up to 36 hours before bringing the furniture back into the room.
